Cultivating STEM Equity in Educational Systems
Issued by Techbridge Girls
A micro-credential for those who are members of the STEM Equity Learning Community, and completed the five sessions that explore (a) asset-based frameworks and practices to combat inequities in STEM, (b) culturally relevant and gender-responsive strategies that increase STEM belonging and persistence, (c) identity and bias, equipping participants to engage staff in the reflection and action required to facilitate equitable STEM programming, and (d) STEM equity action steps for their programs.

Our mission is to instill underrepresented black and minority girls with fundamental skills which foster independence through workshops, programs, service and mentorship for personal and professional success

Our Vision
We aim to spread the power of self-confidence and break the poverty cycle for underrepresented, at-risk and economically disadvantaged black and minority girls through mentorship and S.T.E.A.M. workshops
